Agree the focus
Understand what the leaders want to learn, which people should be involved and how the conversations will be approached.
Human Lens
Human Lens replaces long employee surveys and scoring exercises with confidential one to one conversations. A real person listens, builds rapport and explores what is working, what frustrates people and what they believe needs to change. The result is more personal insight, a comprehensive report and a practical action plan leaders can use.
The problem
Many employees do not enjoy working through long surveys filled with questions and rating scales. Managers often do not enjoy interpreting the results either.
The final dashboard might show whether a score has moved, but it rarely explains what happened, why people feel that way or what leaders should do next.
Human Lens creates space for a proper conversation. This helps leaders understand what they are doing well, what they should do more of and what may be making work unnecessarily difficult or frustrating for their people.
Why conversations provide more depth
People often find it easier to speak openly with someone from outside the business. A personal conversation allows the interviewer to build rapport, listen carefully and ask relevant follow up questions.
This creates a level of detail that a fixed survey cannot easily provide. It helps reveal the experiences, concerns and recurring issues behind the scores.
Human Lens interviews are conducted by a person, not by AI. Conversations are preferably held in person, although video interviews can be used when that is more practical.
Employees are not asked to complete a long online questionnaire or work through a standard set of questions by themselves.
How Human Lens works
Understand what the leaders want to learn, which people should be involved and how the conversations will be approached.
Hold confidential one to one conversations, preferably in person or by video where needed.
Build rapport, ask relevant follow up questions and understand how people genuinely feel about working in the business.
Review the conversations to identify common themes, positive experiences, frustrations, risks and gaps.
Provide a comprehensive report and practical action plan showing what should continue, what needs attention and where changes could improve the employee experience.
Turnaround
The findings, comprehensive report and practical action plan are provided within the agreed 21 day turnaround.
What the client receives
The purpose is not to catch leaders out. It is to help them understand whether they are doing the right things for their people and where practical changes could make working in the business better.
Confidentiality
Human Lens uses confidential one to one conversations. Before the interviews begin, people are told how the findings will be used and how themes will be reported.
Leaders receive the patterns, experiences and practical issues that matter without automatically receiving named comments or raw interview notes. The approach and any limits to confidentiality are agreed clearly at the start.
Who Human Lens is for
Human Lens is suited to leaders who want the best for their people and are open to honest feedback, whether it is positive, difficult or unexpected.
It is for leaders who want to understand what is really happening, do more of what is working and address the issues that frustrate or hold their people back.
